YOUR VOTE IS YOUR VOICE There are several ways to submit your ballot this election year. You can drop off your mail ballot at a Ballot Drop Box or any vote center. You may also mail your ballot through any USPS Post Office or USPS Mailbox. Lastly, you can vote in person on or before election day. Mail ballots began arriving as early as October 7. Early vote centers open on October 26, so find out where your nearest voting location is at the link below. Election Day is Tuesday, November 5, 2024! OC FIREFIGHTERS ASSISTED BY LOCAL IRVINE BUSINESS Our firefighters work every day to keep Irvine safe. Today, I want to thank Tierra Verde Industries for their exceptional support provided to the Orange County Fire Authority amidst the Airport Fire. Owners Art and Chris Kazarian opened their facility grounds for our firefighters to reside, while accommodating fire trucks and a tent city. This allowed the firefighters to tend to the devastating wildfires, providing tremendous support for the affected areas. Since 1997, Tierra Verde Industries has been a family-owned and operated recycling center in Irvine. We truly appreciate Art's impactful contribution. CERT PROGRAM  I would like to inform you about our City’s emergency training program, Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). The CERT training was created to educate and empower members of the community to assist themselves, their families, and their neighbors in any type of crisis. The course consists of basic skill trainings such as emergency medical operations, fire suppression, and light search and rescue operations. I am a proud CERT graduate myself, CERT Class #61! I found the course to be very valuable and I highly encourage you to sign up when the next session opens. To learn more about the CERT program, click here. 

ENJOY CHURCH OC Congratulations, Pastor Jason and Christina, on the launch of Enjoy Church OC! Their ministry does great work serving the Irvine community. They are located at 9233 Research Drive, Irvine, and hold Sunday services at 9:00 am and 11:00 am. I am excited to hear more about the positive impact they will continue to have in Irvine.
